[MFP] Query: conversion of mobile banking to voice

Dear all

Does anyone know any examples of conversion of mobile banking USSD menus into voice for reaching those of limited literacy or the visually impaired? I'm not necessarily looking for examples where the user interacts with voice (e.g. speech recognition or voice recognition) as we're not quite at the point of being able to implement at that level so at this stage user interaction would still be via the keypad. I am aware of the work that Safaricom (M-PESA) has done. Also that there are lots of great apps out there, but most of our customers have a basic phone so that's not an option.

If you do know of any relevant examples, I'd love to know more including having contact details to gain insights into pitfalls and successes. (Do feel free to send any contact details privately.)

Thanks very much in advance.
