The 12th year School of African Microfinance (SAM) is scheduled for 5th to 16th September 2016 in Mombasa, Kenya. At this year's program, discussions and courses are centered on building High Performance institutions, with greater focus on "Accelerating Growth", our theme for SAM 2016. Our courses include: Delinquency Management; Individual Lending; Reporting Financial Analysis & Performance; Business Process Improvement; Business Planning with Microfin; Customer Service Excellence; Strategic Marketing & Branding; Agriculture Value Chain Finance; Compliance, Governance & Regulation; Internal Controls & Fraud; Savings Mobilisation; Management for New Managers.
Participant Mix & Registration
· SAM is designed for middle and senior level managers responsible for providing leadership and management in executing on the institutions' strategies. It is also appropriate for executives charged with contributing to strategic decisions. The target institutions are microfinance institutions, banks, regulatory institutions, SACCOs and donor programs.
· The course fees is US$4,950 covering tuition, course materials, accommodation and meals. To register please apply online on www.samtraining.org.
Scholarships
With The MasterCard Foundation, we are supporting institutions send their outstanding leaders or managers to SAM. Institutions that wish to attend and have sponsored two participants to SAM 2016 can qualify to nominate a third participant for a scholarship to attend. Applications close on 31st July 2016.
