As I am sure many of you are encountering these terms, I am curious to know if any MFI out there is experimenting with the provision of a digital identity to its customers as a means to empower them to engage in other types of services. I’ve been in several discussion around the blockchain technology, and I have argued that if any sector (industry) has the potential to harness the concept and use of this technology, it would be the MFI sector.
There is lots of talk on blockchain and providing digital identity to farmers, but I have yet to see any real example.
