The Council of Microfinance Equity Funds (CMEF) has recently adopted a new name, the Financial Inclusion Equity Council (FIEC), designed to reflect its evolution from a membership council of private entities making equity investments in microfinance, to one that also represents members with a broader focus on greater financial inclusion. FIEC is also proud to announce its newest member, the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF).
