The ILO's Microinsurance Innovation Facility has recently released new Emerging Insights highlighting how different microinsurance products offer value for clients, and viability for the organizations that offer them. The latest release from our bite-sized lessons series features lessons from microinsurance schemes in Bangladesh and India.
The Emerging Insight entitled 'Keeping PACE with client value' features how the SAJIDA Foundation applied the Facility's PACE tool, to identify potential areas of improvement for clients for their composite microinsurance product.

The Emerging Insight entitled 'What is the value of outpatient health insurance?' illustrates how providing access to free or discounted outpatient services leads to lower use and cost of inpatient services. These results from CARE Foundation were recently published in the Lancet, a leading medical journal.
