Thanks for sharing us your study. It seems really interesting, I have identified many MFI's in Mexico with all these factors that you've mentioned. 

I'd like to get in touch with you to discuss some additional points, regarding some business risk indicators that I would like to build to monitor an investment performance and some recommendation related to some software platform to do that. My personal e-mail is gusgaral@icloud.com. 

I'm a microfinance professional, mexican, with over 14 years of experience. I have participated in launching four succesful MFI's in my country, regulated and non- regulated. 

My main activity now is promoting private investment in financial sector (banking and NBFC) in Mexico and LATAM. As a CEO of Alpha Business Development and Reputational Risk Advisors, I am dedicated now to make M&A transactions and business development, with international and local clients, specially focused in energy and microfinance sectors.

Hi Kabir -- not a plan per se, but I did a study following 10 cases of failing/failed MFIs some years back. Some were successful, others eventually closed. You might find some useful info there. FYI, there are two parts to this:
