Did I thank you for this ? Now back home, let me do so again. Why not make it into a paper for EDM ? We get all manner of 'academic' papers that suffer from the problems you mention, the writers are all too often in the thralls of a system which rewards elaborate manipulation and decries 'usefulness'. Tell them so, in our own columns.
