CGAP Newsflash: Emerging Lessons from Applied Product Innovation
Through our work in Applied Product Innovation (API), CGAP aims to understand how customer-centric design methodologies can be tailored in order to create better financial services - specifically, branchless banking services - for the poor. So far, lessons are emerging from the design phases of projects in Brazil, Mexico, and Uganda. A new presentation provides a detailed look at the product concepts developed in each of the three countries, and a new blog post offers six key messages for financial services providers. CGAP's Claudia McKay and Yanina Seltzer, key contributors to the API work, as well as an expert from IDEO.org, the non-profit arm of a design firm, will be available to answer your questions on the product design process and emerging lessons for branchless banking in a live web chat 18 April. Register and submit your questions in advance at CGAP.org. You have been sent this email because you are on the CGAP emailing list. If you prefer not to receive further emails, please email us at CGAP@WorldBank.org
