[MFP] WAM-NY scholarship program for women microfinance practitioners

 

WAM-NY is honored to offer a limited number of scholarships to women microfinance practitioners at the middle management level to attend specialized training programs and workshops that strengthen their skills and leadership potential. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must fulfill the criteria listed below as well as submit a completed application and a CV to WAM-NY by March 31, 2013. The candidate must:
1) Be female.
2) Be currently employed by a microfinance institution.
3) Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in microfinance.
4) Have a minimum of 1 year of experience at her current institution.
5) Have the language skills necessary to participate in the program of her choice.

WAM-NY is a professional, not-for-profit networking group based in New York that aims to advance women's participation and leadership in the microfinance industry.
